Tyler Harmon from Dynasty to Houston Heat!
In a surprise move, longtime professional paintball player in the National XBall League Tyler Harmon announced he would join Houston Heat for the remainder of the 2021 pro paintball season! After several seasons, including a recent event win, with legendary pro paintball team Dynasty, the most successful pro paintball team in the sport of paintball's history, Harmon announced, and later the National XBall League confirmed, Harmon's move via social media.
In Tyler Harmon, Houston Heat adds a passionate, aggressive all-around player with massive experience at the professional level to their already strong roster, a move the team will likely look to quickly capitalize on at the upcoming NXL Mid-Atlantic Major to be held outside Philadelphia in late June. Houston Heat plays their professional paintball with Luxe paintball guns, and after one 2021 pro paintball event, sits just outside the top 10, ranked 11th of the 20 professional teams in the NXL. Dynasty, meanwhile, currently sits in the 10th spot. (announcement image via National XBall League)
The National XBall League promotes professional and nationally-ranked divisional paintball tournaments across the United States each season, including the NXL World Cup. Upcoming events in the 2021 NXL season include the Mid-Atlantic Major outside Philadelphia, the Golden State Amateur, the Windy City Major and, finally, the World Cup in Kissimmee, Florida in November. Currently, Edmonton Impact sits atop the professional NXL rankings, ahead of Los Angeles Infamous and Tampa Bay Damage.
